Bart Shatto

Bart Shatto is a Broadway theatre actor-singer who has appeared in the Broadway musicals Les Misérables, The Civil War, and Dracula, the Musical as well as the national tour of Cats. He was also in Cornstock Theatre's wonderful production of The Secret Garden. He is a veteran member of the rock band The Trans-Siberian Orchestra.

Bart has also performed at renowned regional theatres including Actors Theatre of Louisville, Alley Theatre – Houston, Ford’s Theatre and the Barter Theatre. Also, Bart had the distinguished honor of performing for President Bush at the National Theatre in Washington D.C.along with Maya Angelou, Hal Holbrook and Tricia Yearwood.

Bart can be heard as the voice of “Gaspard’s Papa” in the new animated series for Disney Jr. “Gaspard and Lisa”. Other television credits include “Ghost Stories”( Fox Family) and “Guiding Light”. He is co-starring in the feature film “Freedom” opposite Cuba Gooding Jr, independent feature “Reunion 108”  and the new musical film (opposite Tony-nominated Orfeh) “Life of an Actress”. Recently, Bart returned from London playing the famed 20th century writer D.H. Lawrence in a new musical “Lawrence” at the Bridewell Theatre for a limited run.
