Steve Hollington spent his formative musical years as a keyboard/vocalist in a variety of bands, which included many UK summer seasons and tours, working with the likes of Billy J. Kramer, Gerard Kenny, Acker Bilk, Little & Large & many others.

During this time, not only was he the musical director for many theatre shows in the UK, he also joined the famous QE2’s Big Band where he performed nightly as pianist/vocalist in the ship’s Grand Lounge.

After 10 years working as a musician, Steve decided to return to full time education, and graduated from Leeds College of Music in the UK with a BA (Hons) degree in Jazz Studies in 1998.  For the next 20 years, Steve worked full time in high schools/colleges as a Head of Music, then subsequently as Head of the Creative Arts Faculty.

Recently Steve decided to return to his musical performing roots. His first cruise contract in 2018 was with Windstar Cruises and ever since then, he has been entertaining passengers and sharing his talents with their guests.

Steve is a versatile musician and offers a wide variety of entertainment for guests to enjoy, from dinner Jazz to Country & Swing to Pop.  He now also enjoys a career as an International Elton John tribute artiste and is one of the few Elton John tribute acts in the world that plays ‘live’ grand piano throughout his entire show.  This has taken him all around the world as a guest entertainer on a variety of cruise lines. He has also been part of other prestigious performances. Most recently he supported the Australian-British singer, Kylie Minogue known as “the Princess of Pop,” at the Dubai Sevens in December 2019.  The distinctive sound and visual experience Steve attains as he pays homage to the great Sir Elton, provides a perfect and, most important of all, fun tribute show that is guaranteed to be a smash hit with audiences all around the world!
